We have more than a dozen males, all being progeny tested, some now with many daughters in the herd. Some have moved on to other herds, but their progeny are here. Other males are new arrivals -  being tested in our herd. All are well bred and chosen for a purpose.

Anthony now has 66 daughters in the herd, and is working again at the moment. His first crop of daughters are nearing the end of their first lactation - they have so far averaged 1176 kilos in 365 days. His best daughter to date giving 1520 kilos in 365 days.

His sire Mostyn Minivalboy, is a son of the famous Champion Mostyn Minival, and she is also the dam of his sire Mostyn Minvalson.

Anthony's dam is the well known, high yielding Champion Echin Annabeth.

Platinum

Platinum has 38 daughters in the herd, who are now being served by either Wedgewood Anakin or Brynglas Mascagni

His sire, Willamiss Future, came from a long line of high yielding BA's, bred for good fats and proteins. 

His dam, Willamiss Treasure, was a prolific show winner, just needing one more CC to make her a full champion, also with excellent fats and proteins.

Chaucer has 105 daughters in the herd. They are petite in stature, but, are still mature enough to fit with the herd policy of kidding at 12 months of age for the first time. His daughters in milk have good, well attached udders. His first crop of daughters are nearing the end of their first lactation, the best so far has been Givendale Awn who gave 1489 kilos in 365 days. His second crop of daughters have been registered with the BGS in the SR and are being officially milk recorded.

Joined herd 1998 - Aaron has 58 daughters in the herd. He had been little used in the herd until 2002/3, but now has a number of young milking daughters. An example is Givendale Iona who gave 1779 kilos in 365 days of her first lactation and has a very well attached udder. He is working again now.
His dam is the full sister to CH Aphrodite Adele Q*4
qnd his sire is an Elvenhome male from a heavy milking line - see Ashness Carl's pedigree.

Wedgewood Agassi

Agassi joined the herd in June 2003 and has sired his first crop of daughters. Agassi is a large range BA male, he was top show male of 2000, and was one half of the Inter-breed pairs winner at the Breed Shows in that same year. He has gained many CC's and BCC's, and is now a full Champion and Sire of Merit. (Subject to BGS Confirmation). His dam, Arete, was a very large rangy BA of excellent colour. His sire's dam, Japan, was long lived, had a very good show career and milked consistently well up to her death aged over 10 years of age.
Arete: 2 nd Lactation 1492kg in 311 days @ 3.27% bf & 2.63% protein.
Japan: 3 rd Lactation 2084kg in 365 days @ 3.84% bf & 2.72% protein.

Foot and Mouth movement restrictions severely restricted his use at stud until joining the Givendale herd. Agassi now has 6 young daughters in the herd , and 20 females in kid to him due in May/June 2004
